'Take Away' Chair, Designed by Billi Hayes, 2009

A chair that is suitable for the outdoors. The problem: public seating is often abused, mistreated, and destroyed overtime. This results in the user not wanting to sit down on the chair and use the outdoor seating facilities. Therefore, I designed a frame that wold be welded to the ground and the seat (fabric) can be removed and rolled up and taken away. Each person owns their own seat. A new look at outdoor seating, taken from the concept of renting a chair at the beach.
'The Glass House' by Phillip Johnson, 1959

Living amongst a healthy landscape, over exposure to sunlight, and bold use of materials - glass and steel. No privacy yet very intimate, and simplistic, leaving out the details. Inspired by Mies van de Rohe who was not a fan of the house.
Israel, 2013

"Its not perfect but it's all yours". A life changing trip in Israel last year.
